How the calculator works

A qualified lead is a business contact who fits your agreed targeting criteria and has expressed interest in discussing the selected service. A list entry, email open or job posting alone does not count. Consultations mean meetings held, not merely booked.

  • Clients required = client target, or fee target ÷ fee per client, rounded up.
  • Held consultations required = clients required ÷ consultation-to-client rate, rounded up.
  • Qualified leads required = held consultations required ÷ lead-to-consultation rate, rounded up. Monthly targets round up again so they can cover the total.
  • For monthly services, added monthly fees = clients × monthly fee. This is the fee run rate once all target clients are active, not revenue already earned.
  • Revenue within the acquisition period assumes clients start evenly at the beginning of each month, with immediate service activation and no churn. Average active months = (period + 1) ÷ 2. Actual sales cycles and delayed starts can reduce revenue.
  • For annual business tax, estimated engagement fees = clients × annual fee, with one engagement per client. This is not a collection forecast or a guarantee of renewal.
  • Acquisition cost per client = monthly budget × period ÷ target clients. It excludes any costs you omit and is not a profitability calculation.

All amounts are USD. Results exclude churn, refunds, fee changes, delivery costs and tax. Conversion rates are user assumptions, not Rev-Empire performance commitments. This tool does not estimate how many cold contacts you need to reach; that requires a separate contact-to-qualified-lead assumption.
